Hey Don I will tell you that my side effects with gleevec really intensified with time. The rash came and went. I did itch a lot on gleevec but there was a rash with it as well. At its worst, I had my entire shin of one leg covered with red rash and blisters. When I switched to tasigna in December I had a new all body rash that itched awfully. Someone on one of the sites recommended SARNA lotion. It has metholatum in it and holy cow! It worked SOOOO good to relieve itch. It works well on hives too. So you might ask your wife to try some of that. Hang onto your shorts - it is $14 a bottle.... Barb in AZ
