I am glad yours is clearing up. I am on 4oo mg of gleevec.
I find that the bleeds are very frightening to those who see it. I am a pastor
of a large congregation and the parishioners become very disconcerted whenever
it happens.
hang in there, Jeannie and everyone

Hi Chris and thanks for the input.
They sure are scary; mine has just about cleared up.
How much Gleevac do you take?

    hey Jeannie --
I have also been on Gleevec ca four and a half years and I have had about
four eye bleeds. One of them very recently and it was the worst. Even had
pain with it, but the eye doctor at mayo said that it's nothing to worry about.
Rubbing your eye may or may not have caused it. I get them from nothing at
all. Just thought I'd re affirm what you've heard.
