Hello to all:

I just wanted to let everyone know about little Bethany's MRI & her
prognosis. They put her to sleep while doing the MRI last week & she
came through all the testing with flying colors.

She has a tumor about the size of a half of Dollar smack dab in the
midst of the optical nerves and cannot be operated on as it is
entangled with those nerves. The doctor said that this a fairly
common turmor in children her age and can be treated rounds of
chemotherapy during the next twelve to eighteen months. If the
treatment is successful........the tumor should not come back. They
are awaiting the surgeon now to schedule a date he can put the port in
for the chemo..........the family wanted to sort of skip this week as
her fifth birthday is today. So, I am sure it will probably be
sometime next week when they will get started.

Please, still keep praying for her and her family........it will be
about an 85 mile one way trip to the hospital and back when they begin
these treatments. It is a wonderful hospital for children, so she
will be in good hands, but it will be tough financially on her
family, I'm sure.

Keep looking Up,
Suzieq
