Hi Livia,
Thanks so much for the update.
I know how disappointed you can get when the counts don't come down, but
keep fighting CML warrior.
We are praying for you and this trial, so it can help you and others.
Blessings,
Jeanie<3

Hi my friends,

So my PCR came back at 0.4/1000 copies. My doctor said that it is a very
stable result, but this time it did not drop. He said that this was my second
PCR on the trial (Gleevec+Interferon+Sargamostim combo). I was said because my
first PCR came at 0.2/1000, so I kind of was hoping to see PCRU, but no. My
doctor – Dr. Smith from JHU said that it is very normal, that this is what
they see, so I just need to give it a time and be patient.

I was a little bit sad, but then I said to myself that I have really been on
this combo only for 5 months and I need to stay on it for at least 10 – 12
months, so I just need to wait and see what the future PCRs will show.

My side effects are manageable, but I must admit that since I started the
trial, I am very tired. Sometimes I come home and do nothing. I watch TV and
if
I don’t fall asleep, I study for my class – boy I am so behind. I am only
30 years old!!!

Hope everybody is doing fine!
