I have had cramps in my legs and my hands for years and I just thought it was low potassium....or my Arthritis. I still don't know what causes it. Since I've been on Tasigna the leg cramps are gone, but still have times when my hands actually look deformed and twisted. I usually put heat on them and it will pass after a while. Since joining this group, I've found out lots of things. Thanks for sharing with me. I also wanted to comment that, while on Gleevec, I suffered from diarrhea so much. I associated a lot of it from Tomatoes. They really seemed to trigger things. Even when I avoided them, I still had terrible times. I lived on loperimide, which is industrial strength Imodium.....prescription. Now that I'm on Tasigna, that has passed, and I feel human once again. I do avoid caffeine, and don't drink a lot of milk, but use it in cooking, etc. and it doesn't seem to bother me. I'm beginning to think that these things that we all suffer are individual...some the same, some different.
We are very fortunate to have the medicines that are available today. I wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope that everyone has friends or family to share it with. Hugs to all, Millie --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ [CMLHope] A support group of http://cmlhope.com ------------------------------------------------- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CMLHope" group.
