Hi everyone: I found this all interesting since I have one place that often itches but there is nothing there to see. It is a small area on my abdomen.....I have been just putting a little Shower to Shower powder on it once or twice a day and that seems to help. I've tried Lanocane creme....did nothing. The powder seems to help the most. I figured that it had something to do with the Gleevec because I use to have the same problem with the upper chest area doing the same thing. Nothing there to see. Just a slight itch now and then. It is something that is "liveable"......so, I just go ahead and tolerate it. Trey's explanation makes sense to me.
