One Sunday afternoon in 1997 while Harry was home hospicing he felt suddenly better and bored. He wanted to make a sock monkey. - No book at the library, no instructions on the internet. In desperation I called Vermont Country Store because they had a sock monkey kit in thier catalog. After I explained the situation to the young lady who was running the shop alone that afternoon she pulled a kit from inventory, got the instructions out and faxed them to us. They are literally some of the nicest people on Earth. I can't remember if I ever thanked them properly.
