Hi all, I'm getting my transfusion tomorrow. Pray that it will go good. It's not bad, you have your own little cubicle with a TV, and you can order anything you want to eat. The first thing they ask you is what do you want for breakfast. You can unplug the blood machine and walk around if you need to. It takes about 8 hours for 2 pints of blood; it is Red Blood Cells not whole blood. I'm hoping they will give me the energy to keep up with my family on the cruise; if not, I'll stay in and order room service. I just love being on the water. We have a veranda suite, so we can sit out on the balcony and enjoy the ocean. We want to see the rain forest in Puerto Rica, and of course see the rum making plants. I had a Christmas breakfast with my granddaughters this morning and one of them said, don't forget to see the cocoa making plants; I said, I didn't know they made coke there, and she laughed and laughed.
