Hi Is your mother taking her gleevec with a large meal?
Gleevec will hurt your tummy if you don't and also drink a large glass of  
water with it.
I would have her Doctor check her for ulcers and etc.
Hang in there.
I'm taking Tagsigna, and you don't have to take it with meals, but I had  
some bad stomach pains when I first started taking it.
