Hi Our CML family It has been quite awhile since we have given an update on Jonathan.? It actually took me awhile to find this site again. Jonathan is doing great.? It was 5 years back in October 2008 since he started his journey with CML. He will turn 15 this May 2009.? He?is growing into a wonderful young man and I feel priviledged to be his Mom.
Jon has remained very active in a sport he loves. "Paintball".? It is a very agressive sport and I had many concerns, but through out this past year,? I know now not to let this disease hold my son up from doing all he can do and wants to do. Because it has been the best thing for him. He is very good at the sport and now plays in high grade tournaments with his team and there is fun?traveling involved. It has given him a focus. His smile has been fantastic to see and his overall health has improved.? Great color now. Also it has been 6 months since he has had any feet pain.? Which went on for years. He's a trooper and remains my hero. He has taught me sooooo much about life.
