Dr. Neil Shah is indeed very good. He is one of the leading experts on treatment resistance in CML patients and did a great deal of the original research (in the lab at UCLA) that led to dasatinib and the dasatinib trials. I saw him when he was at UCLA working with Dr. Sawyers. He has presented several times for the LLS teleconferences on CML and is one of the major CML researchers presenting at the American Society of Hematology's annual meetings. As one of his patients while he was at UCLA, I can authoritatively say that he is one of the most brilliant and compassionate people in the field. Virginia Garner
