Hi to all of you, I just wanted to let everyone know that on the morning of April 7, 2009 I'm going in for surgery to correct my knee replacement that didn't work out right. It was left to tight, there needs to be more space for it to work properly. The doctor that is doing the surgery is going to replace the inserts that are in there with smaller ones if possible. If the smallest ones were used by the original surgeon then he will have to remove the implant in the tibia and grind off enough bone to create more room. Then redo the implant procedure and reinstall the artificial knee. If only the inserts are replaced, my recovery time will be much less than the almost 4 months anticipated with the more radical procedure. So I won't be on the computer for awhile because it's down stairs in the basement and stairs will be out of the question. I'll let you all know when I'm doing stairs again!
