I received my packet from Novartis yesterday with the new card to save on the co-pay for my Gleevec. Did anyone else sign up for this when Rob posted it a few weeks back?
Anyway, it had the paperwork from them on Gleevec which is now twice as long than what it was when I first received from them a couple of years back......plus, it also had paperwork on Tasigna......not only that, but they included double of both, so you can give one to the doctor who's treating you or just who ever. It lists every side effect.......drug interactions.....so on and so forth. Very good to have. I especially loved seeing the "mental confusion" part in writing so I don't have to worry about thinking I'm crazy or something when I forget such easy stuff only to remember it days later.....LOL! It's all there in black & white......all the stuff you have going on in your life and wondering if it could be from the Gleevec.......well, yeah, it pretty much is....... Now I've got to figure out if my card will work with the mail order pharmacy since it says to "show it with your insurance card" to the pharmacy when picking up meds. Hmmmm.....wonder if they will let me fax a copy for them to keep on hand like they do my insurance information? Will save me ten dollars each month on the co- pay......that would be wonderful in this day and time. Well, everyone have a great day and enjoy life!
