Hi Tony, Your fractured vertebra should heal in about two weeks, but it may take a bit longer. About three years ago I slipped on a cruise ship and fractured two of my vertebra but in my mid back. It was so painful that I had to be put on pain killers and had to keep on taking them for several weeks.
