The "big" government picks up my garbage every week. Just
like clockwork, once a week (they even provide the cans, several of
them), and they take it to the dump site. We will never have
"privatized garbage pickup," not because it wouldn't be profitable, but
because the "haves" would be able to afford it, but the "havenots"
would let it pile up, or disburse it into our rural areas, and the
"haves" just wouldn't tolerate that. No, we'll never privatize that,
nor anything else of MAJOR importance. Anything else necessary to us
not becoming a third world country, is done by the government. Why?
Because WE are the government, remember, "We The People." So, now it's
time for health care reform, and has been for 50 years.
It constantly amazes me when people say, "I don't want Big
Government in my healthcare." You can choose to opt out of Social
Security and Medicare, so I wish they would all stop the hypocrisy.
Everyone in American is ONE step from losing their
healthcare. Trust me. My husband and I have great healthcare (and
have for over 50 yrs), but have seen our friends lose their jobs over
the last two years, and lose their healthcare, and one lost their life
because of it. Unemployment could not cover his rent, food, and heart
meds, so he picked and chose which to take, and had a massive heart
attack.
When you get cancer, lose your job, then talk to me about
"big government." Seems like our country cares more about garbage then
people. ?Don't anyone fool yourselves, we can have gov. healthcare, and
the best in the world. Thank God more children are covered thanks to
one political party - the true religious one.
