Good luck on your journey into the world of Sprycell-it has a lot less side effects than Gleevec, at least for me it does. it's easy to take-with our without food. wow, no meds for 2.5 years after gleevac stopped. I had a fantastic response to the Gleevac, immediately knocked my WBC from 128,000 down to 4.7 thousand now. Been off Gleevac for 2 weeks and he's going to start me on Spyrecel which I have to pick up at the cancer center, not the pharmacy. He said he didn't understand why. Anyway, my last couple BCR-ABL was 0.0000000. Gleevac level was 1500, normal is anything above 1500 per hematologist but due to eye bleeds (bilateral) he said no more Gleevac.
