IHi Jeanie, When I started out they put me on the 70mg bid and that just about wiped me out. They said my platlets plumeted way. They said it looked like I had a bone marrow transplant. So after my marrow recovered It was decided to start me on 20mg bid with the thought that they could always up it if necessary. 3 years and it hasn't been necessary. It is really miracle stuff. What insurance do you have? My part D is with aarp and after the I am done with the donuthole I have to pay 5% which is about 180 for me but if I had to pay 5% of 12,000 that would be a huge monthy bill.
