Here is a good site for understanding why you still hurt after gallbladder surgery. I have always wondered how the bile go into the tummy after surgery. This site explains it. _http://www.gallbladderattack.com/gallbladdersurgery.shtml_ (http://www.gallbladderattack.com/gallbladdersurgery.shtml) Jeanie<3 In a message dated 7/3/2010 6:22:16 P.M. Greenie and SuzieQ: I also had my gall bladder removed! I was told at the time to avoid French sauces, foods HIGH in fats and at the baseball games---DO NOT EAT A WHOLE BAG OF PEANUTS at one sitting. I actually did eat one whole bag of peanuts in one sitting and I paid for it dearly during the game by being in the bathroom vomitting. That taught me a lesson! I have routinely avoided French sauces because when I ate them before the major gall bladder attack, I would always have to either go to the bathroom (claiming I was having a dying attack!) or vomitting. My last CML PCR test came back undetectable!!! My Gleevec PK levels came back a little high for me...probably the reason for three eyebleeds in TWO months time! Happy July 4th in the United States---make a a very safe holiday for yours and yeah to the American dream from 1776 when there were passionate Englishmen and others that wanted to begin a new country and have freedom---ENJOY our freedom! I was told that I would not need another BMB as long as my numbers stay where they are!!! YIPEEEE! 3/2009 PCRU!!!! Yippee!!! Nested test not being done any longer at OHSU. 6/2009 PCRU!!!! Yippee!!! Counts on Gleevec PK went up a little bit...not too happy about that! This past October, my PCR was undetectable again!!! My Gleevec PK was a little raised in numbers but still okay...but I am getting some side effects AGAIN! This past March, 2010, I was "low traceable" which Dr. Druker says is the same as undetectable!
