Hi Nancy....I wouldn't be concerned about it if your glucose level is normal.
I don't have any confirmation that the Tasigna caused me to have diabetes. I
was borderline for years on Gleevec, and as soon as I went on Tasigna, it
changed, but perhaps it would have changed anyway.....Who knows? I'm going to
ask my Onc. about this when I see him next month and I'll let you know if I get
any answers one way or the other. I was able to control my glucose level by
diet, and then on Tasigna, could no longer do that. If I were you, I wouldn't
worry about it, but you could inquire if it is a side effect. I don't believe
it's listed, but then I don't know for sure. Hang in there and stop worrying
so much. Enjoy life to it's fullest.....Millie

  Subject: [CMLHope] Tasigna/diabetes

Wow, I didn't realize Tasigna could cause diabetes! I've been on it for two
years and so far so good. Three months ago my checkup showed high glucose,
however. This time, last week, my glucose was normal. Should I watch that
level carefully? One more thing to worry about.
