Ana..Both Sprycel and Tasigna are used when Gleevec stops working..both are second generation kinase inhibitors and can be more effective than Gleevec in many cases. They both have their own set of side effects that seem to vary by individual. I have been on all three and Sprycel seems to be the one that is least problematic for me.
