Thanks again Peg, I will do this and they told me I didn't need any prior auth to fill it but you never know. I can use the same pharmacy so I think it will be easy. Hope so anyway. Thanks for the prayers. Jeanie<3 In a message dated 10/28/2010 12:38:01 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time, [email protected] writes:
Hey Jeanie, Sorry...I replied to your other post before reading this one. It sounds like when you called Medicare this month to make the change for Jan 1, the rep made it effective immediately. In regard to getting your sprycel, I know with AARP you do not need to have the card yet to obtain prescriptions, so you might want to call Envision RX to see if it is the same with them. However, because you have completely changed companies, you might want to also ask if they can transfer the balance of your old prescription from Prescription Solutions (or whoever was filling it) to their specialty pharmacy, or if they need to receive a brand new prescription from your doctor. Either way they will have to prior auth it before filling it, so if you will be out soon, please don't delay in getting this process started, and don't "under-emphasize" the importance of not missing your dose. They won't know this if you don't tell them. Saying a prayer for this! peg On Oct 28, 12:13 pm, [email protected] wrote: > Hello to all, > I enrolled in the Envision Rx Silver Plan and hope to get my insurance > card soon.
