Hi Greeine,

What you have there is called a Hemotoma, and it usually results from when
an IV or injection permits blood to pool under the skin. I have had several
in the past and one recently. It is in my abdomin where they had placed a
caherter for home dialysis. Believe me it will take several weeks before it
goes away, but it is nothing serious to worry about. I wish you good luck.
