I was on 200 mg for years because of side effects and I did fine at that dose for years. My number hovered around .001. Now I'm on Tasgina 100mg every other day and reaced 000000 and maintained for a year so far. Good luck. Suzan

It sounds like some of you believe I've gone off Gleevec. Never! I've been on the 400mgs. dosage since the day they found out I had CML and prescribed it. I did take a two week vacation once and went right back to it. What I am talking about here is asking my doctor about cutting the dosage of the Gleevec back to 200 mgs. and trying that for six months and seeing if I remain at 0 BCR-ABL. Nice to hear from you Greenie! How's that Florida weather treating ya? lol!!! We've actually had a very mild winter here for Missouri. But, we are now experience a little cold spell and snow in the forecast for Monday. Guess we'll have to wait and see if it actually comes. :):) I worked out in the garage last Saturday in my shirt sleeves & my honey rode his new Harley Trike, it was that nice here.
