I can't speak to the airplane, but I was an office worker for my 1st seven
years and I have always had severe leg & foot cramps. I learned that I
had to get up and move around at least once an hour. I did fly a couple of
times and my nonstop flight was about 3 1/2 hours. After about 30 minutes
after take off I would walk the isle for a bit. If the aisle was too
crowded I would just stand close to my seat moving/walking in place and
sitting down when someone needed to pass. I have always keep some
Tums/calcium or potatism in my pocket.

I learned this from southern workers mostly from thw cotton fields, If
your cramps start at home use a cloth dipped in vineager to apply on the
area of cramp, do not rub just move it gently. It only takes minutes for
the cramp to release and there is rarely any soreness left. Sounds crazy,
but it really does work. My friend that ask me to try this because I was
waking up in the night and at times I would not stand because I was in such
pain and of course foot, ankle and calf was knotted.

Good luck, on getting home without having any more cramps..
