We visited Biltmore Estates, a huge 4 1/2 acre mansion in Ashville. I went all the way down to the basement, but it was hard climbing those stairs. Then we went from Ashville to the mountains via The Blue Ridge Parkway. What we thought was an hour trip turned out to be 3 hours due to a slow speed limit up and around the mountains, but it was well worth it; simply beautiful. I used to use Meclazine for nausea but my insurance wouldn't cover it, so I changed to Promethazine. The Meclazine worked better for me for some reason. The Promethazine just numbs you. Then my insurance wouldn't cover the Promethazine either. I am thinking of changing insurance. They also quit covering my Bystolic for HBP, and I had taken that for years. Then my insurance Evision RX uped my premium to $37 a month. I know there are insurance companies out there who charge 0 monthly premium. I failed on both Gleevec, after 5 years and Tasigna after 3 months and was put on Sprycel. I became PCRU after only 3 months. I just had my 3 month check up and I tried to talk to my Onc about the PE. He said none of his patients developed it and PE was the last thing I needed to worry about. Needless to say, ever since I heard your problem, I am indeed worried about PE. I ask him what the symptoms were and he just said you will know it if you have it. This Onc is one of the top specialist at Moffitt Cancer Center. Go figure. I will still worry about it and hope it never comes. I have been on Sprycel since 2009.
