It just goes to show us that we have a situation
that is very expensive to stay alive.
Insurance is our only outlet, and from Marty's
experience we have to be very careful what
insurance and type of policy we are looking for.
I have noticed though that the price of gleevec
varies quite a lot, depending on which state we
reside in and what insurane is available to us.
Right now i have a PPO under MVP insurance.
My deductible is $5000. plus $300. a month.
The gleevec we are getting, { 60 tabs a month},
my wife is only on 200 mg a day,is coming in at
$3269.94 per month.Other folks i have noticed are
paying a much higher price because of their
monthly dose,or maybe what insurance they carry.
Now that our President has 4 more years, we can only
hope that Obamacare has good answers for us,as Suzieq mentioned.
