Dear JEannie, I hop eyou find the source of that Pain too. Keep on pushing.,..and hopefully the answer will come and it can then be addressed. Some issues seem far more difficult to figure out than others. i am so sorry thatyou have had such a hard time it for so long with this pain. Your instinct may be right. If so, I hope an endocrinologist know how to treat it if it is pancreas related. Thinking of you, Beth

They did an MRI and nothing showed up. The doctor looked at all the pain meds and decided on Tramodol. On my recent Cat Scan there was a divirculi at the head of my pancreas and I am starting to wonder if this is what is causing my pain. But then again the pain is right under my right rib. Also my sugar counts have risen to over 100 but have always been under 100 until recent blood test. I am still leaning on chronic pancreatitis and I know for a facet that test don't show up everything. Thanks so much for those articles and hope to find out the source of this pain soon. I should mention that right side pain is one thing I haven't gotten. So here's where I am on the topic. 1st - Here's a link to Web Clinic's page on right side pain http://www.web-clinic.org/Pain-On-Right-Side-Under-Ribs.html You should NOT assume that your doctor has considered all the possibilities listed here. 2nd - The thought that's pestered me on this topic is the link between Tasigna and cases of pancreatitis. Here's a link to the results of study of patients taking Tasigna and incidents of pancreatitis (1.4%) http://www.ehealthme.com/ds/tasigna/pancreatitis Just a couple of thoughts.
