Well, not as you might think. I am on dialysis and my age is 69. I received a letter from my dialysis unit telling me that as of 2014 The affordable care act (Obamacare) will be appointing a fifteen member panel that will decide on how much dialysis, what they will be paying and my doctor will no longer be able to perscribe dialysis without first contacting this panel. This is for anyone on dialysis 80 years old and above. By the way this same thing also applies for anyone that is 80 and above that has cancer.
