My dear Susan and Marty, and everyone on our CML list...The property looks wonderful, and if I didn't have to shovel the snow etc. I would love it. I do love looking out at it all, but not being in it.
Monday I go get my other eye done, and then I must get blood work done. I think we'll do lunch out while we're out. I enjoyed it so much the other day. I put a pain patch on yesterday and wore it most of the day and am putting one on tonight as the pain is bad this evening. I know they say it will affect my liver, but the pain affects my whole life, so I need to get rid of it. My middle son was here today from New Jersey with his 3 little ones ages 9...6 and 4. They were typical children and, although I love them lots, wouldn't want to be raising them..They are a hand full. I can see them sledding down that driveway of yours, even though they have a very steep driveway where they live in New Jersey, and it's just right for sledding. They enjoyed their day with Nana, and ate me out of house and home, but I loved it. I made a huge pot of chili, a salad, and corn muffins for supper and they ate so well. They also had chicken tenders, hot dogs, homemade applesauce, cookies and more for lunch and cleaned that up. They are usually terrible eaters, so it made their Nana feel pretty good about the day. They are home now, all tucked in bed I'm sure. My Christmas is staying up. It was a good day to take them down, but we didn't as I'm having friends over next week, and want to leave Christmas up at least until then. I love my Christmas and wish it could last longer. I will try to share some photo's with you of a couple of thing. I sculpted the Santa's and have made most of what you will see. If I don't get them attached to this e-mail, then I'll do it a different way. I'm not real good at attaching things. Susan, I'm glad that your Christmas was a good one. I hope that you feel well enough to enjoy your time with your children. I was okay for most of the day, but this evening, the pain came back. Oh well, I did pretty well. Again, thanks for sharing. I find that it helps me a lot to know what you're all up to besides this horrible CML and other medical issues that tend to drag us down. Tomorrow will be another wonderful day, I hope. I have a lot of projects planned. It's suppose to rain all day, so I'm hoping that will make me want to do things around the house....or curl up and read a good book.. Hugs, Blessings, and 18's to all, Millie ----- Original Message ----- From: Marty Gartenberg To: [email protected] Sent: Saturday, December 28, 2013 5:02 PM Subject: [CMLHope] My house in Pennsylvania I hope that this video comes through. A friend of mine took this video. I'm sure glad that I am not up there now. I can't deal with all of that snow anymore. And just think, I used to ski down my driveway. The kids used to sled down as well when they were younger. 18's, Marty 2013 001.AVI -- -- [CMLHope] A support group of http://cmlhope.com ------------------------------------------------- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CMLHope" group.
