Thanks so much Marty, I was wondering if she was in Hospice. Poor baby, she was hurting all the time and trying to cope with the pain. We are the same age so I relate to her situation a lot. My brother, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law all were put in Hospice last year before they died. They give you morphine to ease the pain, at least in those cases they did. Millie often said she had to go and see if she could get something to help the pain. She has been my online friend since 2009, the year I went on Tasigna and started the Tasigna group. Her upbeat and positive attitude has helped me so much. She sent me recipes and she sure is a good cook. Chris, if you read this I want to you know how much your mom is loved by me and this group. She will always be a shining star for me, now and forever and we will meet again, if not on this earth, then surely in Heaven. Her faith is strong and her spirit bright. She told me what a joy you have been to her, and I related to her that my son also helps me so much. I pray that she is resting and not in pain anymore. Keep us updated when you can. OK now for some information about our dear friend Millie. Actually, I never knew that Mildred was her middle name and her first name is actually Claudia. Anyway, I sent her a dozen beautiful red roses through an on line flower delivery service. I only had the address of the hospital she was in at the time and used Millie Houtz as the one to have them sent to. I was just called by the flower delivery service and they said that there was no one at the hospital by the name of Millie Houtz. The flower delivery service called the hospital and were notified that there was a person by the name of Claudia Houtz but she was discharged. Upon further investigation I found her home address but it is a PO Box and the flower delevery service does not deliver to PO Boxes. So back to the drawing board once more: I then found out that Claudia is still in that same facility but is now in hospice. With this new information I called the flower delivery service and gave them the proper information so my flowers will be delivered to Claudia in the next few minutes. I was also able to get the phone number for the hospice unit and was finally able to speak to Christopher her son. Claudia was fast asleep and of course I didn't want to disturb her. However, I have the address if you would like to send her greeting cards or whatever you would like to send to her. Her name and address is: Claudia M. Houtz 2455 Blackriver Road Room 6 Bethlehem, PA 18015 Christopher said that he will keep us informed about "Millie" I truly wish her 18's and also to everyone that is reading this.
