Hi All, I think you all know I have insomnia and have for a few years now. It started when my hubby was sick, but I managed it without pills. That is no longer the case. I started taking zolpidem and it will give you about 4 hours sleep; but not all people get this result. I told my onc about my sleeping problem and he told me to enjoy my sleeplessness. Can you imagine!!! It is no fun staying awake when you are supposed to be snoozing. I think the CML meds also cause the insomnia, but there is not help for that. I have Phnomonia 0in my right lung and have been put on some very powerful antibiotics. The side effects are terrible and I haven't been able to sleep fo-r most of the days that I have been on them. I am a mess but still driving the bus. It is my wife Shelly that is and has been keeping me going. She is the star of my life just as she helped me through my bone marrow transplant so does she help me through this.
