Dearest CMLers,
I dutifully called specialty drugs at CVS, as I do each month, to get my refill of Gleevec. I was told that the insurance company (wonderful CareFirst--I think they should be CareLast!) informed them that I had reached the "maximum benefit allowed" and that cost for the month supply would be $6923. I just went through this with the company in January. Now again. My last pill is this Wednesday. As I attempt to work the system, I am asking if by chance, anyone has a bottle of Gleevec around that they are not using because of changing medications. I would reimburse you whatever I could... This would give me extreme peace of mind as I attempt to move through this. Thanking you in advance and asking for prayers for ease and success.
