There are 2 studies that are ongoing now. Patients who have reached molecular remission 2 or more years ago can participate. One study is being done at Hackensack Hospital in New Jersey. I believe that the other one is taking place in California. The patients that are participating must have their blood taken monthly. If the white cells start to rise, they are put back on the Gleevec.
