Yes that is correct. My ONC was to the point when I was getting transfusions every three weeks that when I tested 8.2 or below I would stop at the hospital for type and match so the blood was ready at 9 am so I could be done in about 6 hours. I went today to have blood drawn for the required iron study before I can be prescribed Procrit to see if I can build/keep my count above 8. Last time I was below 9 before we started the process. Right now that history of 1 Year almost 7 years ago is helping to keep me on a faster track. I consider this working on the opposite side of a blast phase.
Yes, my attitude is good and as long as I have people respecting my knowledge of CML after13 years of treatments we can make this work.
