Hi Ana.
I changed from Gleevec to Tasigna 5 years ago.
For me, it played out like this:
The muscle cramps went away, but the fatigue and dizziness stayed.
My fingernails started to grow again, but my hair started to fall out
everywhere where I don't want it to fall out.
For the first two years I had blistery infected hair follicles all over the
place, which took a very long time to heal.
My appetite improved a lot, I gained about 25 pounds.
My blood pressure became much harder to control, plus occasional heart
palpitations. Tasigna sure messes with my cardio function.
Now, after 5 years, there are signs that Tasigna is losing its
effectiveness. I am not sure what's next on the menu.
Overall, I would say that Gleevec and Tasigna are on the same level as far
as side effects go, it's just a different set of annoyances.

Hope this helps,
Peter
