Hello everyone! I am just trying to take the pulse of the real users and drivers of today's Content Management Systems. I am looking to get a better understanding of their views when it comes to multi-lingual web content, translators, reviewers and ultimately, the delivery of that content.
I am not trying to spam nor sell anything. Yes I am a Sales Rep for a GMS (Globalization Management System) software firm, but I am mearly trying to get the opinions of the people who really count...the users! I am looking for feedback from anyone who uses a commercial CMS app (or homegrown) to understand just how they manage their process' for the multi-lingual content...all manual or is it automated? Break down in the translation lifecycle or do you have a clear view? Do you have a repository of the translated content in some sort of translation memory that you can leverage with all updates/changes to the site or are you at the mercy of the translation house/incountry translators? Any feedback to help me better gauge the street would be greatly appreciated!! Best regards to all, Christian Johnson 617-416-4389 ____________________ Christian A.
