*****warning: philosophical preamble*******
I believe in metrics. It is from measuring and comparing measurements that
we discern and weigh.

However, when 'science' (I take it technology comes under scientific domain
somehow) fails to
Identify what needs to be measured and how, it tends to conclude
'uselessness'.

I mean, there are a lot of things that science cannot measure. Not because
they do not exist are not useful or they are not measurable (ie subatomic
particles) , is because existing metrics are not adequate. Or just not yet
developed.
************end of philosophical preamble******************

I am working on different sets of metrics to measure various types of impact
of a CMS, sadly however, much of the
work (especially the good stuff) that I share freely and spontaneously is
often ransacked and resold by known consultants as their own. This is very
upsetting!

Yes, I have a set of metrics to compare performance of two or more CMS.
It's a process similar to benchmarking, and it is all about setting the
parameters right.
Post me off list if you are interested in discussing any aspect of this.
