yes, OpenCms does support the MS SQL Server (example: www.essilor.de).
If you are using OpenCm 4.6.x or 4.7.x, the setup with MS-SQL is not
autimatizied yet, but this will be included in the setup-wizard of the 5.0
version.

Of course you will need an JDBC driver for MS-SQL, as far aw we know there
is currently no good one available for free, so we used the Merant driver in
the project I mentioned above.
