After using Vignette and homegrown CMS's for years, I just started working for a company that uses divine. My first impression is that it's well architected -- it relies heavily on the app server for things like failover, which I think is a good thing. It comes with a sensible array of content types, which are easily extensible. My chief complaint so far is that the user interface is mostly web-based, and it's not very well designed -- but that seems more like something you figure out and get over, not a show-stopper. If you and/or your developers are used to OOP principles and know Java, though, divine seems ok. Here's a pretty good review of 3.6 (we're using 4.0): http://www.cmswatch.com/Features/ProductWatch/FeaturedProduct/?feature_i d=69 John McGrath [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- http://cms-list.org/ a wish for peace in the new year.
