RE: Qualifier and Members
In using this new stuff I start getting these messages with some
regularity. The reason is I forgot the keyword Member.
FPLCVS060E Delimiter missing after string "pdsdir.aliasof nw"
FPLMSG004I ... Issued from stage 2 of pipeline 4 name "SCANPDS.REXX:11"
FPLMSG001I ... Running "spec /AKA/ 1 m pdsdir.member nw /alias of/ nw pdsd"
FPLSPE192I ... Scan at position 59; previous data "mber nw /alias of/ nw pdsdi
Any suggestions as to what should be the criterion for interpreting a
kewordless string as a member name rather than a delimited string?
I suppose I could fall back on an implied member when the delimited
string is unterminated, but many member names are likely to contain
the first character later in the name and thus the correct member name
would be missed and the diagnostic would be related to the output
placement, which does not make for a robust recovery.
Keep in mind stuff like #entry#; most likely a delimited string.
