:-)  I'm expecting some PREDSELECT magic....

if it's any help the abbreviated keys are known in advance and will be
coded as STRLITERAL stages and fed to the LOOKUP secondary input (or
the new MHH* stage).

Short of something "elegant", I'll code a series of PICKS.... it's not
a long list in this case. Sure would be a nice option though. I come
across this problem fairly often and usually end up PICKing my way
through it. ;-) But it's Christmas.... maybe there's a gift out there.
