o The source is a VMFPLCD archive.

o The packed file generated by PIPE PACK is the same size
 as one generated by COPYFILE ( PACK, but has pervasive
 local differences.

o The file unpacked by PIPE UNPACK is identical to the
 original input.

o No, I'm not in a position to instruct all my users to
 eschew COPYFILE and cleave to Pipelines.
