Remember the reasoning behind this stage was to be able to quickly output some
data without the need to worry about having worked out what it was going to
look like beforehand. I always thought of it as akin to a temp disk. Once I had
solidified my thinking into a permanent solution, I would create permanent
datasets and use the disk stage which avoids the buffering. Horses for courses.
