I have conversed with Melinda .. and I agree that I am probably the one that
over-reacted - point taken!

James, private e-mail addresses are in the email headers of any post to
this list (see below). I think the one who's over-reacting is you, mate.

On topic .. I think that CMS Pipelines is truly a fabulous tool .. one
which
I have used extensively - and John (Hartmann) has my utmost respect for
his
contribution to the VM community. What I take offence at is the
expectation
that I should be deferential to someone I do not know based on a piece of
software. It's just a program, get a grip Mike! I'll not bug you guys
anymore - I'll sign off this list ASAP - but before I do - Mr Larson can
you
send me your personal email - I'd like to stay in touch!

John Hartmann is merely the author of CMS/TSO Pipelines (the purpose of
this discussion list) , and continues to enhance and support it (for
which
all users are very grateful) on his own time after his retirement from
IBM.
Most VM-related listserves try to stay on-topic as a courtesy to all
subscribers. IMHO John courteously and without sarcasm asked you to
continue the off-topic discussion privately. That response was in stark
contrast to the flames you may have endured on many other listserves.

Is it beyond imagination that I would want to contact someone that I
used
to
work with and that I have not had contact with for over 15 years?
without
a
sarcastic comment from someone else that I do not even know. Who the
hell
are you? I appreciate that this is an open thread - but let it go my man
and
get a life!

Gentlemen, it is great that you have reunited. Might I suggest that
you
carry out further exploration off this list.
