Hello Dave, yes, if we ask nicely the 'Pope of Pipe' does a lot, and he did much more than I ever could expect. But in this case I doubt because of what Rob van der Heij shows here http://rvdheij.nl/Presentations/2008-V56.pdf on p20: i) not documented in The Book, ii) not a generic interface to IUCV, iii) very similar to TCP.. support, and iv) brief description in Pipeline News.
So if you look at the description of the TCP.. stages, they are not written for beginners, some options are not detailed as for other stages, you must already have some knowledge about TPC/IP. And I assume the same for IUCV, you must know it to some extend before using it with Pipe. It's not that simple like split, chop, drop, etc. And, well, he is known to be precise with only few words, so maybe John just does not want to bore the experts with well-known facts. ;) (To be honest - it turned out my Pipeline News1111 file missed some 1600 lines, no way to find the brief description.) Ciao.....Mike PS: anyhow, I also ask nicely... ________________________________ CONFIDENTIALITY : This e-mail and any attachments are confidential and may be privileged.
