I should have known better. When I flunked both semesters of high school Spanish, my name in class was Miguel. But 10 years later even those failed semesters of Spanish came in handy when I was sent to Berlitz for 2 weeks to learn Italian before being sent by a previous employer on a 3 month assignment in Milano.
