[CMS-PIPELINES] queue question

(CMS specific - if that matters)
Somewhere recently, I came across a PIPE example that allowed the QUEUE()  to 
be used in a PIPE.  I didn't know this could be done, I tried it, etc.
I've slept since then.  I can't remember the format of the PIPE to do this and 
I can't remember the name of the EXEC I used to test it.
So, could someone provide an example of what the PIPE would look like?
PIPE  QUEUE() | > QUE FILE A   ?
