I've been thinking and I am not finished yet. But I now know that I need to rewrite CONSOLE once more. I promise this will be the last time (but I won't promise that I shall do it right this time either--perhaps it is an impossibility, but I haven't proven that yet).
However, it is clear to me that the interaction of CMS MT and pipeline domains needs careful analysis. I need to compile an extensive list of scenarios that must be supported and what their output should be. Then build test cases. If you have an applications in this area I would like to hear from you off the list. If you have any suggestions other than "send in the marines" or "no fly zone" I would also like to hear from you.
