The cons/term stage is 3215 line mode.  In the conversion to 3270, CP 
strips most of the 3215 control characters.  You can influence 0x40-0xFE 
by using START FIELD sequences.  In fact, you can kind of muck up your 
display if you send just the wrong sequence of characters < 0x40. 
0x40-0xFE is further controlled by CP TERMINAL TEXT and CP TERMINAL APL 
settings.   CP does not assume a particular code page.

Browse, on the other hand, is full screen.  Be careful what kind of data < 
0x40 you send to pipelines full screen stages.  It's your 3270 data 
stream.  Note that it provide TERMCODEPAGE and DATACODEPAGE so that it can 
translate correctly.
