If the program is asking CP to write the response directly to the terminal, then the only option I see is routing all console output through IUCV back (with SET CPCONIO IUCV). In theory you could have a pipeline set up to receive that with STARMSG as long as you can figure out when to stop listening. Or you can run the program somewhere else and use SCIF to intercept through console output. Rob
